簡介
MEMS
Microelectromechanical systems: systemes in which computers are connectedwith little mechanical devices like sensors, valves, gears, mirrors, andcontrollers integrated in semiconductor chips. MEMS are employed e. g. asacceleration sensors in automotive airbags. They can blow up airbagsdepending on the measured acceleration and taking into account the sizeof the respective person. They are less expensive and more reliable thanconventional technologies.
